PUB SPLASH LABS


During my time in year 1 at Republic Polytechnic, I joined the PUB Splash Labs Public Campaign Category Competition, where we were tasked to create a public campaign to raise awareness about rising sea levels. My team was comprised of Lim Kia Yee, Genevieve Lee, Silvia Chew Zi Wei and Pawethra Puwai Do G Sarkunan and me, Lee Suan Hui.





For our campaign, we were tasked with the following:

  • Setting up a platform to host all our campaign content

  • A video with the maximum duration of 3 minutes

  • A 30 Second Teaser

  • One Promotional Poster

  • Five Social Media Post on Instagram or Facebook

With the target audience of children in mind, the team created posters, videos and a website, catered to our target audience. In addition, the materials that we created was done with children in mind, hence the more cartoonish aesthetic.



We posted these works on two social media platforms, Instagram and Facebook. In addition to posting on social media, we had also done outreach to Nurseries such as PCF Sparkletots and People’s Association.

As a result of our campaign efforts, we were recognized with a certificate of achievement of second place in the competition, and were also awarded the second place prize of $2,000.
